Daniel Evans will be hosting a book signing and giving some of his personal testimonies of Jesus and The Holy Spirit at Stepping Stones Bookstore in Grinnell, Iowa on Saturday, January 20, 11:00 – 4:00.
To encourage believers, and convert nonbelievers, Evans sheds light on how God has changed his life by telling readers about his experiences with “miracles, unbelievable visions, amazing blessings, multiplication of food to the homeless, and many other awe-inspiring events.” As part of his aim to bring people closer to Jesus, Evans also includes steps in his book about how to create an intimate relationship with Jesus.
“The greatest fears are death, rejection, failure, loneliness, money, and the unknown,” Evans states. “The world is dark. Jesus is the answer to all these fears, and the Light.”
In addition, Evans says that all net proceeds of book sales will be donated to Christian homeless shelters.
An excerpt from “Jesus Is the Light in This Dark World”:
I witnessed bolts of lightning between Tim’s palm and my shoulder!! Wow!! It felt somewhat like electricity flowing throughout my body. … At that moment, I didn’t know if I was dead or alive. So I paused and placed my hands on my knees and pinched my knees with my fingers. I could feel my hands pinching my knees. Then I knew that I was alive! I knew that I wasn’t asleep or in a dream; I was awake, it was real.
