DES MOINES, IOWA, October 16, 2020 – Be sure not to miss the virtual awards presentation by Iowa Architectural Foundation (IAF) on Tuesday, October 20 from 5:30 – 6:00 PM. The Foundation will be honoring the two 2020 recipients of its prestigious Community Enhancement Through Architecture & Design Awards. John & Mary Pappajohn of Des Moines, and Grinnell College, are the 2020 honorees. The selection process included a statewide call for entries and selection by a jury of five, including architects and community leaders Rob Whitehead, AIA, ISU; Jessica Rowe, The Des Moines Public Art Foundation, Janis Ruan, Thomas Leslie, AIA, ISU and Jeff Shaffer, AIA, BNIM.
